About me

After many years of 'dipping' in open water mostly in the summer, I finally got a wetsuit so I could swim!
I've always loved swimming from being young but not a fan of chlorinated pools. Swimming in open water is euphoric! And so good for mental health and overall well-being. I feel refreshed and energised after.
Cold water swimming is my new challenge and I have been getting acclimatised to colder water and even had some one to lessons and a stroke analysis. The coldest I have swam in so far is 9.5 degrees and it is only going to get colder.
